QA/QC ENGINEER (Airport Project, UAE)

Oneworks is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer for an airport construction project in the UAE.

The role is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes across all disciplines to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures in accordance with project quality plans;

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority regulations;

• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals;

• Conduct audits and inspections to verify quality standards across civil, architectural, MEP works;

• Identify, issue, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions;

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve quality issues;

• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for audits and project handover;

• Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems meet required standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).

• (3yrs Airport) 7-12+ years of QA/QC experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects in the UAE/Middle East.

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, QA/QC procedures, and audit processes.

• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, IEC, NFPA, BS) and UAE regulations.

Preferred

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification

• Experience in airport or critical infrastructure projects

• Strong documentation and reporting skills
