One Works is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Milan. The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and interior designers and will work side-by-side with other disciplines to project manage the design process on our construction projects.

Responsibility:

You'll support the architectural and engineering by swiftly resolving any design-related issues in line with our commercial objectives to keep the wider project program on track. In particular, your role will involve:

  • Taking full responsibility for the design coordination of projects.

  • Liaising with the client and the stakeholders on contractual and managerial matters.

  • Efficiently coordinating communications from the various design consultants in unison with our internal design teams.

  • Managing the production and approval of samples, mock-ups and quality benchmarks.

  • Managing the production and control of the design program and reporting against it.

  • Preparing and managing work plan documents during each stage of the project.

  • Managing budgets and reporting during each phase of the project.

  • Processing contractual and financial administration documents.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering required.

  • PMP certification is required.

  • Skilled at managing people, processes and business priorities of professional projects;

  • International experience is considered a plus.

  • Good knowledge of CAD and Revit.

  • A passion for design, a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and managerial level.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel is required.

  • Knowledge in management of project business: scope, fee, schedule, work plans, and budgets.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and delegate multitudes of tasks, assignments, and changing priorities efficiently.

  • Ability to inspire collaboration between client and projects teams as the single point of contact.

  • A willingness to take full accountability for your role, actions, judgements and decisions.

  • The ability to build trust, confidence, and new relationships with others – you'll also understand how to generate new business.

  • Proficient in English.
