Job description
Oneworks is looking for a Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager / Design Management Specialist to be involved in a construction site project in Switzerland, based in Geneva.
The role will act as a key interface between the production team (technical office/back office), the client, and the various stakeholders involved in the project, supporting the correct flow of information, document management, and day-to-day operational coordination.
The selected candidate will play a key role in the operational and managerial oversight of the project, acting as a bridge between the internal production team, the final client, and the suppliers. This position requires full involvement in both the technical production workflow and the management of the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution throughout the 22‑month duration in support of the construction company.
Key Responsibilities
Verification of compliance between the executive design and the constructed work
Manage the review and approval process of drawings
Interface daily with multiple stakeholders (client, production, site teams)
Ensure the quality and consistency of technical documentation
Be based on-site in Geneva, Switzerland
Coordinate daily activities between the production team, consultants, and the final client, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication.
Oversee the full technical and administrative management of the project, including planning, progress monitoring, deliverables, and quality control.
Supervise the preparation of technical drawings, shop drawings, and as‑built documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements and client expectations.
Manage all interactions with suppliers involved in the production process, including requests, timelines, deliveries, and documentation.
Support the construction company by ensuring alignment between design deliverables and site needs, providing continuity and clarity across all phases.
Job requirements
Degree in Architecture (preferred)
At least 5 years of experience in technical coordination / project coordination roles
Overall professional experience of 8–10 years
Construction site experience is considered a strong plus
Excellent ability to read and understand technical drawings
Good knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory) and Revit;
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and with multiple stakeholders
Italian: fluent
English: fluent
Solid understanding of technical production processes, shop drawings, and as‑built documentation.
Familiarity with administrative and financial aspects of project management (payments, SAL, contracts, suppliers).
Strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
Previous experience in construction, engineering, or design management environments is preferred.
