One Works’ Milan office is looking for a competent Urban Designer with excellent conceptual design talent and experience in urban planning.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and delivery of complex master planning and urban design projects at the city scale. He/she will be skilled in the use of GIS and space syntax in order to produce analysis of larger territories such as demographic densities that may inform project concepts.

"You will have experience in developing high-quality design work from concept to detailed work stages. You will have proven ability in establishing productive client relationships, as well as leading and mentoring other team members. In this position, you will be responsible for collaborating with external consultants and key project stakeholders, and required to contribute to the preparation of both technical and commercial proposals."

The selected candidate will work directly in the area of transport planning and innovation. We would like him/her to be passionate about how transport may improve the quality of life in our cities, and that such drive is translated in a propositive approach to a variety of topics and technical analysis.

• Master’s degree in architecture, urban planning- urbanism;

• Up to 3 years professional experience

• Experience working in large-scale city development, master planning and urban design projects in different parts of the world;

• Proven ability in developing design through concept to detailed stages

• Valuable knowledge of best planning practice norms and regulations

• Excellent graphic, spoken and written communication skills;

• Efficient project organisation skills;

• Strong AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and GIS and Space syntax;

• Self-starter, independent and hands-on approach;
• Self-disciplined and confident in dealing with a multicultural working environment
