Oneworks is a global design and consultancy firm offering an integrated approach to architecture, infrastructure and urban engineering.

Our multidisciplinary teams work across multiple scales, from strategic planning and master planning to architectural and infrastructure design. We collaborate with public and private clients on complex projects including airports, transportation systems, urban developments and major real estate initiatives.

Role Overview

Oneworks is seeking a highly connected and influential Business Developer to drive market expansion and strategic growth in Riyadh and across the Middle East region.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering and has a strong and established network within the local industry (developers, government entities, consultants, contractors and key decision-makers), as well as a proven track record in generating business opportunities in the built environment sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and prepare a three-year business development strategy aligned with company objectives and regional growth plans;

  • Develop and monitor quarterly budgets and revenue forecasts;

  • Identify high-potential market segments;

  • Map key players and stakeholders within the Saudi market.

Market Expansion & Networking

  • Leverage an existing, strong professional network within Riyadh and the wider middle-east market;

  • Actively expand the Company’s presence by building relationships with developers, government authorities, giga-project entities, and private investors;

  • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and strategic meetings.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic networking and relationship-building;

  • Lead discussions and negotiations with clients.

Commercial & Contractual Management

  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close agreements;

  • Ensure alignment between contractual commitments and company policies.

Internal Collaboration

  • Foster strong collaboration with internal teams across offices and functions;

  • Share market intelligence and best practices;

  • Support positioning strategies and branding initiatives within the region.

Contract

The employment contract will be compliant with Saudi Arabian local labor law and regulations.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering;

  • At least 8-15 years’ experience in Business Development within Architecture, Engineering, Infrastructure and Real Estate;

  • Strong and active professional network in Riyadh and Middle East;

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;

  • In-depth understanding of Saudi market dynamics;

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills;

  • Arabic language proficiency is preferred;

  • Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
