BIM COORDINATOR

Oneworks is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our team in Dubai to support the Company’s projects in the region and internationally. 

Location:

Dubai, UAE (with regular presence required in Sharjah, for ongoing aviation project; travel within the UAE and abroad may be required depending on project needs.

In this role, you will support the implementation of BIM and digital delivery processes across large-scale projects, facilitating coordination between design disciplines and consultants, and contributing to the effective integration of digital workflows throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 

• 5-8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in BIM coordination roles on multidisciplinary design projects. 

• Proven experience supporting BIM implementation and coordinating digital models across multiple design disciplines. 

• Good understanding of BIM standards, information management workflows, and model coordination processes. 

• Experience reviewing and coordinating BIM deliverables within a Common Data Environment (CDE). 

• Proficiency in industry-standard BIM platforms including Revit, Navisworks Manage, Solibri and Autodesk Forms (or equivalent). 

• Experience on large infrastructure or complex building projects; aviation or transportation projects preferred. 

• UAE/GCC experience preferred. 

• Strong communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary project environments. 

• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken). 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Support the implementation and day-to-day management of BIM processes across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project BIM requirements and digital delivery protocols. 

• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist disciplines, supporting federated model reviews and clash detection activities. 

• Review and track consultant BIM submissions to ensure compliance with project standards, levels of development, and coordination requirements. 

• Assist in the management of the project Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring correct information exchange procedures and file management. 

• Support the review and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) submitted by design consultants. 

• Assist design managers and project teams in resolving coordination issues through the use of digital models and coordination tools. 

• Prepare and maintain clash detection reports, coordination logs, and model review documentation. 

• Participate in technical coordination meetings and support BIM coordination discussions with consultants and project stakeholders. 

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM coordination practices and digital workflows within the Company.
