ASSOCIATE BIM ARCHITECT

Oneworks is about to open a new office in Mumbai, and we are looking for an experienced Associate BIM Architect with strong BIM expertise and international project experience to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Mumbai office from its early stages, working closely with Oneworks teams across our international network and contributing to the design and delivery of complex architectural and infrastructure projects across different geographies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of professional experience, a strong architectural and technical background, excellent proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM-based workflows, and proven experience working on international and large-scale multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and support the development of architectural projects across different design stages, from concept development through detailed design and delivery;

·        Develop, manage and oversee architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with project and BIM standards;

·        Coordinate the production of architectural drawings, models and technical documentation within a BIM environment (Autodesk Revit);

·        Support the BOQ team in extracting quantities of objects from Revit using schedules;

·        Coordinate with architects, engineers and other disciplines across international and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions;

·        Identify, manage and resolve design and BIM coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle;

·        Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, contributing to the development of BIM capabilities within the team;

·        Contribute to and coordinate internal design reviews, multidisciplinary coordination meetings and project presentations;

·        Work closely with One Works teams across different offices, contributing to projects in international markets;

·        Ensure high standards of design and technical quality while meeting project requirements, deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture;

·        At least 8 years of professional experience within an architectural practice or multidisciplinary design consultancy;

·        At least 1 year of professional experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in sectors such as aviation, metro, rail or other transport infrastructure;

·        Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and solid understanding of BIM processes and workflows;

·        Previous experience working on international projects and/or collaborating with international teams, clients or consultants;

·        Strong architectural design and technical documentation skills;

·        Solid understanding of construction processes, building systems and multidisciplinary coordination;

·        Experience coordinating architectural work within complex, multidisciplinary project environments;

·        Ability to guide and support other team members and coordinate project activities;

·        Strong organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills;

·        Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English;

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Nice to Have

·        Extensive experience working on large-scale and complex international infrastructure projects;

·        Experience across multiple transport sectors, including airports, metro and rail systems;

·        Knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and visualization tools;

·        Autodesk Forma Data Management;

·        Experience coordinating architectural BIM models with structural and MEP disciplines;

·        Familiarity with international design standards, building codes and project delivery processes;

·        Previous experience mentoring or coordinating junior architects and BIM team members.
